🚨𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Federal Health Minister, Mark Butler has admitted that there was a 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 from a lockdown response to the COVID-19 pandemic to using an 𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 — and that there was a lack of transparency and rationale when [state] governments made their decisions, which ended up having a profound impact on the lives and freedoms of Australians.

Because of this — the panel has come to the conclusion “that many of the measures taken during COVID are unlikely to be accepted by the population ever again” due to the erosion of trust in government.
