▫️Decatur Police give update on string of sexual assaults, tipline remains open
DECATUR, Ala. — It’s been two weeks since the Decatur Police Department (DPD) asked for the public’s help in its investigation of a string of break-ins that led to sexual assaults.
DPD said that since that announcement and setting up a tip line, it has received more than 15 tips. However, the department said no patterns have emerged from those calls including vehicle sightings. Police also said no additional incidents have been reported and so far no arrests have been made in the case.
Decatur Police are still asking for anyone with any information in this case to call their tipline at (256)-341-4636.
