▫️Human Trafficking Ring Busted: 2 Afghan Suspects Arrested in Kohat Raids
KOHAT: The officials of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Saturday raided various Afghan refugee camps in Kohat region and arrested two Afghan suspects allegedly involved in human smuggling.
Under the directives of FIA Director General Ahmad Ishaq Jahangir, the FIA officials of Kohat Zone intensified its crackdown on those involved in human smuggling. Acting on a tip-off, two Afghan land route agents were apprehended from refugee camps located in Kohat.
The suspects were involved in deceiving citizens and sending them to Greece via Iran and Turkey through sea routes. Crucial evidence related to human smuggling was recovered from their mobile phones. Based on the information provided by Rahimullah, the main suspect Abdur Rehman was also arrested.

▫️FIA arrests former policeman ‘involved’ in human trafficking
RAWALPINDI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Islamabad zone detained a former police official for allegedly being involved in human smuggling and extorting huge sums of money for illegally sending people to Europe via sea route.
Spokesman for the FIA said that the agency has arrested awanted suspect involved in sending citizens to Europe via illegal sea routes.The accused was identified as Hassan Butt.
The accused who was a former police officer was arrested from Jalalpur Jattan during a surprise raid.

▫️30 people offloaded from airport on suspicion of human trafficking
Thirty individuals were removed from flights at Karachi Airport due to suspicions of human trafficking, with many flagged as potential victims. They have been transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle for further investigation.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Muhammad Arsalan Shahzaib told a presser that the suspect, along with his accomplices, abducted the child with the intent to demand a ransom of Rs5m.
A police team utilised technical and human resources, rescued the child and arrested the principal accused
