The Micronesian Pacific region is to a greater or lesser extent a region under US-Australian protection and military control. In the case of the Federated States of Micronesia, this has been made clear by plans being pushed earlier this year for a 400 million dollar expansion of a military airport in Yap with the intention given being phrased as being better able to protect American interests in Taiwan and elsewhere in East Asia.

On the other hand, Nauru is de facto occupied by Australia. At the end of World War I it was taken from Germany and reassigned to Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom to govern as a United Nations mandate. After World War II, the country became a United Nations trusteeship under Australian administration. Nauru gained its independence in 1968. Although initially well off due to phosphate deposits, they were exhausted in the 1990s and it has since come to depend on aid from the Australian Government in exchange for hosting the Nauru Regional Processing Centre, an offshore Australian illegal immigrant detention facility and by giving Australia an extra vote in relevant international bodies. In effect, it has become a client state of Australia in exchange for Australia supporting the current standard of living of the nation's inhabitants.

If anything, the above shows why Zionists, whether Judaic or not, cannot be blamed for everything, There are more than enough Anglos who don't necessarily identify as Zionists, but who, in the pursuit of power, are very much up there, too.
