This pic was from around 6:20 am. I was about a half mile east of the Capitol, so not even there yet. This is smack in the middle of a residential area, opposite direction of the govt buildings, on Maryland Ave. 🤔 You can see the "protesters" with their banners, and they have several police right there with them, on the left with lights on. Intersting, huh? So basically, in all 4 directions, leading to the Capitol, they had small protests (one group actually had instruments which mad me think theure unrelated🤔) creating traffic chaos, not to mention the rental truck and boat they had surrounded which blocked any access to the Capitol from rte 395, the major highway. All small protests and a rental truck, strategically placed, around the VERY crazy and busy Capitol, with police "assistance", as well. Very interesting.... Doesnt appear to be "dangerous", just a huge nuisance, so far. Not buying it. 🤷♀️
