Holy 🐮 Quincy (one of the big corda devs) explains XDC and highlights a MASSIVE feature: you can settle cross-platform payments such as off-blockchain onto the chain. He gives the example of someone paying with a $USD wire transfer and corda accepting that settlement as XDC payment 😱🔥

That means it allows anyone to pay someone using any platform (blockchain or not) and in whatever currency in any country they want, whether it’s fiat or crypto, and the settlements are automated.
