It is our pleasure to inform you that registration is open for the Student Pre-Event and the 7th World Health Summit Regional Meeting. 


The Student Pre-Event is going to be held on April 28th, preparing students for the main Regional Meeting, which is going to be on April 29-30th. There are various programs designed for students, such as coaching and facilitation, workshops, activity fair, etc.

Join dental students from around the world to help the people living in informal settlements around Soweto, control child tooth decay – the most widspread condition affecting the children in South Africa.
Gogos Give Smiles is a collaborative project among International Association of Dental Students (IADS) , Humble Smile Foundation, and Rivers Foundation which takes place from April 1st to 15th, 2019 in Soweto (South Africa).
Application Deadline: 5th of February, 2019
Fees: FREE OF CHARGE! (accomodation, food, local transportation and even weekend excursions are totally covered by HSF – the applicants will only need to pay for their flights to and from Johannesburg airport and the visa if needed)
Admission: an online interview with the applicants might be required to assist their capability to join the project.

The 5th International Dental Student Congress will take place from the 12th until the 14th of April 2019 at the Faculty of Medicine, Ljubljana, Slovenia.

It is organised by SiDSIC (Slovenian Dental Students International Committee).

Change-Maker Scholarship program:
The Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research at the WHO is partnering with the IFMSA to provide the first ever Change-Maker Scholarship Program for the WHA and the PreWHA.
Change-Maker Scholarship recipients would receive full financial support for their attendance at the WHA and the PreWHA. This would include flights to and from their home city to Geneva, registration for the PreWHA, full accommodation, food and living expenses during the PreWHA and WHA, and any relevant visa payments.
In order to be eligible for the Change-Maker Scholarship Program, you must:
Be a student from any health disciplines/professions;
Have a nationality from, and live in, a low or middle-income country;
Have a passion for global health, and especially for health systems and health policy.
