World Hindi Day

🎙1975 में आयोजित पहले विश्व हिंदी सम्मेलन की वर्षगांठ को चिह्नित करने के लिए, विश्व हिंदी दिवस प्रतिवर्ष 10 जनवरी को मनाया जाता है।

🎙 10 जनवरी को पहला विश्व हिंदी सम्मेलन 1975 में नागपुर, महाराष्ट्र में हुआ था, जिसका उद्घाटन तत्कालीन प्रधान मंत्री इंदिरा गांधी ने किया था।

🎙पहले सम्मेलन के मुख्य अतिथि मॉरीशस के प्रधानमंत्री शिवसागर रामगुलाम थे। इसमें 30 देशों के 122 प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया था।

🎙 2006 में, तत्कालीन पीएम मनमोहन सिंह ने 10 जनवरी को विश्व हिंदी दिवस के रूप में घोषित किया। इस अवसर का एक अन्य उद्देश्य हिंदी को एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय भाषा के रूप में प्रस्तुत करना है।

🎙भाषा का नाम फ़ारसी शब्द 'हिंद' से लिया गया है जिसका अर्थ है 'सिंधु की भूमि'। यह भाषा भारत, त्रिनिदाद, नेपाल, गुयाना, मॉरीशस और अन्य देशों में बोली जाती है।
