Intercept Theorem

The Intercept theorem provides the ratios between the line segments created when two parallel lines are intercepted by two intersecting lines.

It is sometimes called "Thales' Theorem" (not to be confused with another one of his theorems related to inscribed angles, also called Thales' Theorem) after the Greek mathematician to whom the proof is attributed.

PROBLEM

m and n are parallel lines. XC and XB are two intersecting lines that intercept m and n. Show that the following relationship between the lengths of the line segments is true:

XD/XC=XA/XB =DA/CB
and XD/DC=XA/AB
(See Fig.)

What is Biomagnetism?

Biomagnetism is the measurement of the magnetic signals that are associated with specific physiological activity and that are typically linked to an accompanying electric field from a specific tissue or organ.

How does Biomagnetism work?

Biomagnetism works by using magnets to reestablish the natural pH balance of the body. When the body is in balance it can function at optimal levels and keep pathogens, bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites under control.

By applying the magnets to specific areas, we can optimize oxygenation, circulation, and may help with pain and inflammation. The restoration of optimal pH and the promotion of homeostasis allows the body to heal itself

What Is Your Conscious Mind Vs. Your Subconscious Mind?

The conscious mind can be described as whatever you are currently aware of. What you are feeling, doing, seeing, touching, experiencing. You are conscious of it, or aware of it.

Consciousness does not involve stored information. It is what is happening now. It does involve thinking and making decisions.

In contrast, your subconscious mind is always working in the background, but you are not necessarily aware of it. Sometimes called the unconscious mind, your subconscious mind contains all of the stored information of everything you have ever experienced.

Because of this, it influences how you react to things, such as why you are shy, lazy, eat too much, or have an addiction. On the positive side, your subconscious mind also affects things like why you are motivated, confident, successful, cheerful, hopeful and so on.
