Details about a few of the farm attacks reported this month
24 November - Wolmaransstad, North West
67 year old farmer and his 66 year old wife attacked on their farm in the sheep kraal. The farmer was tied up and stabbed to death. The wife beaten and forced to hand over the keys to the safe.
19 November - Boschkop, Pretoria East, Gauteng
A 68 year old farmer was shot and killed in his farm house after multiple blacks gained access to the premises. His wife was stabbed in the head and the savages poured boiling water on her legs before fleeing with electrical appliances.
6 November - Ugie, Eastern Cape
Farmer and wife, 68 and 67, were attacked in their farm house in the evening. Overrun by the attackers, they were forced to hand over money/bank cards. The husband was tied up in the bedroom. The black savages poured petrol in the house and set it alight. The couple narrowly escaped through a window.
3 November - Nelspruit, Mpumalanga
77 year old farmer, 74 year old wife, and son of 53 attacked in their farm house in the early hours of the morning by multiple blacks armed with an axe and machetes(pangas).
All three survived with serious injuries. The farmer was taken to the hospital with severe brain swelling. The wife's skull was cracked and the son was shot in the leg while wrestling with one of the savages. The son shot and killed one of the savages.
