Team Battle: Tokyo vs. Kyoto! ✦ Tokyo and Kyoto Jujutsu High Schools hold Goodwill Events every year as a competition between the two schools. It is held at the start of the school year during the spring before the busy season for jujutsu sorcerers in the summer.
The Goodwill program lasts two days with each Principal of the respective school selecting the event for the day. However, in recent years, the two Principals agreed on the same pattern; team battles on the first day and individual battles on the second. This tradition was broken by Satoru Gojo in 2018, so the competition ended with a two-team competition.
These events are considered jujutsu battles where the only rule is not to kill each other. All jujutsu permitted in combat including the use of cursed tools.
Usually, second and third years participate but first years can be allowed with their senpai's permission. Even though the Jujutsu High School curriculum consists of four years, students can only participate until the third year.
