💎 TON Browser — launched quietly
It turns out TON Browser is already live — and it’s the Telegram Browser.
Core developer Anatoly Makosov (AKA Tolia Enot) shared this update at The Gateway, and here’s what stands out:
🔝 Telegram Browser = TON Browser? Yes, according to Anatoly, it’s essentially TON Browser.
The roadmap’s minimum goals are covered, but a desktop version? For now, no promises.
TON Core is focused on other priorities, and TON DNS is on hold too.
⚫️ New Goals: The team is currently working on technical solutions to increase network limits, building on their 108.4k TPS record.
Anatoly says this will multiply TON’s capabilities several times over.
🔝 TON Internet: No groundbreaking releases are expected just yet.
The main strategy is to add new features gradually as the team finds time.
There’s potential, though: the .ton domain could one day support mini-apps, similar to web2.
⚫️ Ball’s in the Community’s Court: Now, with TON Browser embedded in Telegram, the community has the stage — the network is ready for new pages, content, and applications.
🔝 Idea to Ponder: Anatoly also proposed an interesting feature for TON wallets: a personalized greeting with the user’s attached domain name. Imagine:
"Welcome back, Enot [.ton]"

It’s a touch of personalization for services and a bit more friendliness for users.
