BREAKING: U.K. and France Consider Sending Troops to Ukraine in Race to Stop Trump Peace Deal
A British military source told Le Monde: “Discussions are underway between the UK and France regarding defense cooperation, particularly with the aim of creating a core of allies in Europe, focused on Ukraine and broader European security.”
“These are sensitive discussions, most of which are classified – relaunched in light of a potential American withdrawal of support for Kyiv once Donald Trump takes office on January 20, 2025.”
NATO is escalating the war even as Ukraine is losing ground in the war effort.
The Biden administration recently greenlit Ukraine to deploy U.S.-made long-range rockets into Russia.
Ukraine immediately took the U.S. up on the offer, even as Putin called such aiding and abetting of Ukraine's military effort an 'act of war' against Russia.
The Biden administration is also considering the return of nuclear weapons to Ukraine, the NY Times reported. Russia would consider this a direct provocation and a betrayal of post-Soviet agreements, as well as an existential threat.
Putin recently lowered the threshold for Russia's use of nuclear weapons to encompass major offensive strikes on the nation's territory.
