🇫🇷✍️ Glucksmann is polling at around 10% and I expect him to slowly but surely lose points in favor of Mélenchon, the only Leftist capable of reaching the 2nd round and Edouard Philippe/Gabriel Attal as they are centrist capable of reaching the 2nd round (Philippe more than Attal).

🚙⚡️Electric vehicle sales surged across Europe in July, driven by high oil prices, subsidies, and more affordable models.

Since the Iran war began in February, EV sales have increased significantly, with EVs making up 25.7% of new car sales in 16 EU markets in July. Renault’s UK sales saw EVs rise from 10% two years ago to over 50% in July, with the Renault 5 becoming Britain’s best-selling EV.
Online marketplace OLX reported a rise in EV enquiries across several European countries.

However, challenges remain, including a lack of public charging infrastructure and potential fading interest if oil prices drop. In contrast, U.S. EV sales face obstacles due to the removal of a federal tax break.

🇬🇷✡️🏴‍☠Six Rouvikonas members, aged 32 to 46, were identified by Thessaloniki police for “racist crimes” following an “anti-Sionist patrol” on June 27.

The anarchist group, founded during the Greek economic crisis, opposes Israeli investments in Greece, supporting Palestinians. Their actions, shared on social media, sparked a preliminary investigation by the Thessaloniki prosecutor’s office.

The Israelite Central Council of Greece condemned the incident, citing a rise in Judeophobia. Rouvikonas, known for direct actions, is based in Athens’ Exárcheia district.

The group is under scrutiny for their activities, which have raised concerns among authorities. The incident highlights ongoing tensions and the challenges faced by law enforcement in managing such groups. Further details about the individuals and their actions are yet to be disclosed.

🇫🇷 In France, the Prime Minister is presenting the first outline of the budget bill for 2027.

This means that the third season of autumn unproductive parliamentary struggle is beginning, in which the government will seek a majority in parliament to pass the budget, and the opposition, either the left or the RN, will file motions of no confidence against the government.

One of these motions will eventually be voted through, and then Emmanuel Macron will appoint the same government and pass the budget by presidential decree, bypassing parliament.

So, in short, that is what the upcoming autumn in French politics looks like.

🇺🇦 Former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Zaluzhny, stated that the current course of the Ukrainian government and the situation in the country are increasing public doubts about Ukraine's future political path.

"Today, Ukraine has come perhaps closest to a state where doubts about its future path could permeate—and have already begun to permeate—society. Instead of building a Ukrainian state, we have a clan-oligarchic republic that, while defending the interests of some, systematically destroyed faith and unity in society,"

- he wrote in a column for NV.

✍️ The longer I observe politics in Western European countries, the stronger the impression I get that far-left figures like Jean-Luc Mélenchon in France serve only to strengthen the ideologically empty center such as Macron's coalition.

Liberal governments themselves create such extremists and then, by frightening people with them, they maintain power. I do not know what other role Mélenchon could play.

He himself may not know that he is a tool of moral influence on the ideologically empty hedonistic liberal electorate, used to scare them and mobilize them before elections, but he is not and will never be anything more.

✍️ What makes you happy, idiots?

This is Europe's concession to Turkey. This is nothing positive.

🇬🇷🇹🇷Greece has relocated its Patriot air defense missile system from the island of Karpathos to the Suda Bay on the island of Crete.

Initially, the system was deployed to Karpathos in March 2026 during a period of heightened tensions between the United States and Iran.

Turkey strongly condemned this deployment, citing demilitarization obligations stipulated in older treaties.

🇩🇪 54% of Germans in a poll believe that Chancellor Merz will resign before the end of the parliamentary term, and 18% are convinced that he will definitely resign by the end of the year.

Interesting conclusions also emerge from a study of the CDU-CSU union electorate.

67% of Christian Democratic voters say that the Chancellor has lost authority in the party and in the government and that his influence has significantly decreased.

🇮🇪🇩🇪⚔️🇮🇹Tensions are rising between Italy and major EU countries over the new EU Pact on Migration and Asylum. Ireland has joined seven other member states in advocating for the return of asylum seekers to their first-entry countries and strict adherence to secondary movement rules.

The most intense conflict is with Germany, which seeks the readmission of ‘Dublin cases’—migrants who moved to another state without applying for asylum.
