News anchor and journalist Brian Williams admonished Democrats for how they handled the 2024 election and said the party had “gone quinoa while the rest of America is eating at Cracker Barrel.”

“It is tough love time for the Democratic Party,” Williams said during an interview with NBC “Late Night” host Seth Meyers that aired Wednesday night. “I think it needs to be stripped down and rebuilt.”

National Democrats need new leadership, Williams said, knocking party leaders for initially putting President Biden up for reelection before he was forced to drop out over concerns about his health and electoral viability.

BREAKING: The Texas Board of Education approved a new K-5 curriculum that allows Bible teachings in classrooms.

The curriculum includes Biblical and Christian lessons about Moses, the story of the Good Samaritan, the Golden Rule, readings from The Book of Genesis, and more. The accuracy of the materials has come under scrutiny. For example, the curriculum claims "Abraham Lincoln and other leading abolitionists relied on a deep Christian faith," though Lincoln's religion has historically been debated.

The instructional materials, called Bluebonnet Learning, are developed by the state, according to the Texas Education Agency. The lessons would be optional, but districts can receive at least $40 per student for using state-approved materials, according to local legislation.

Some supporters of instituting religion in the curriculum say that these religious texts are important for the historical context of U.S. history and can instill moral values in the classroom. While some critics said, this violates the First Amendment right to freedom of religion for students and teachers, forcing classrooms to engage in Christian instruction.

World Health Organization (W.H.O.) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus was hospitalized on Wednesday night in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he had been attending the G20 summit.

Hospital Samaritano Barra da Tijuca in Rio said the W.H.O. chief, 59, was admitted on Wednesday afternoon for “necessary tests, which confirmed clinical indicators with no signs of seriousness.”

The hospital said Tedros spent the night under observation and was released on Thursday morning. He was reportedly given medication for high blood pressure.

Prime Minister Viktor Orban invited Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday to visit Hungary but several other European nations said the Israeli premier would be detained if he set foot on their soil, following the issuing of an arrest warrant for him.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants on Thursday for Netanyahu, his former defence chief Yoav Gallant, and for a Hamas leader, Ibrahim Al-Masri, for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza conflict.

All EU countries are members of the court, which means they are supposed to enforce its warrants.

But the diverging reactions - and the fact that EU heavyweights Germany and France have not said if they would arrest Netanyahu - highlight the major diplomatic and political challenge posed by the ICC decision, which drew swift condemnation from Israeli leaders and the White House.

Pam Bondi knows what they did in 2020.

She fought fiercely for Trump after they stole the Election from him and knows about the dead people and fake ballots that they pumped into Biden’s total in PA.

If you want justice for the stolen 2020 Election, Bondi is a great AG pick.

Complaints continue to fly between former Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne and Hunter Biden in a long-running lawsuit where the presidential son claims the businessman defamed him.

Earlier this week, Byrne’s attorney filed a declaration complaining that Biden’s legal team gave the defense some “543 pages of documents” which were not previously disclosed, not on a list of proposed trial exhibits, and, in deadline terms, “past the discovery cut off.”

Filed in support of a separate motion in limine, Byrne argued the court should “preclude” Biden “from referring, mentioning, or using in any manner any of the documents contained” in that allegedly late discovery dump “during the trial of this case.” Specifically, as the overarching motion elaborates, the defense wants to keep out any evidence or witness testimony that was not disclosed in discovery.

Now, Biden’s attorneys say Byrne’s attorney simply got it wrong — and is protesting far too much about the documents themselves.

BREAKING: Civil jury in Ireland awards woman more than $250K for Conor McGregor sexual assault

A civil jury in Ireland on Friday found that mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor sexually assaulted a woman in a hotel penthouse after a night of heavy partying.

The Dublin jury awarded the woman nearly 250,000 Euros ($257,000) for her lawsuit that claimed McGregor “brutally raped and battered” her Dec. 9, 2018, leaving her heavily bruised and suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

McGregor testified that he never forced her to do anything and that the woman had fabricated her allegations after the two had consensual sex.

The woman’s lawyer said she never pretended to be a saint and had gone out looking for a good time that ended up turning into a nightmare.

Attorney John Gordon said McGregor was angry about a fight he had lost in Las Vegas two months earlier and took it out on his client.

BREAKING: The House Oversight Committee demanded Friday that FEMA respond to new allegations that it has discriminated against Trump supporters when distributing emergency relief.

In
a letter first shared with The Daily Wire, Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) wrote to FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell asking for her to provide more documentation on any “avoidance” policy the agency may have in place. The letter comes after Criswell testified for hours on Tuesday about guidance from FEMA supervisor Marn’i Washington in Florida to “avoid homes advertising Trump.”

While Criswell has said Washington’s instructions were an “isolated” incident, Comer noted that another whistleblower had contacted his office telling them that a similar situation occurred in Georgia.

He wrote the whistleblower told the committee that “a FEMA contractor warned a disabled veteran’s family in Georgia to remove Trump campaign materials from their home because FEMA supervisors viewed Trump supporters as domestic terrorists.”

The letter also pointed to comments from Florida Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) who said on Tuesday hearing that over 35 of his constituents reached out to him with allegations that FEMA had discriminated against them.

Trump: "We have modern slavery if you can believe it." "Together, we will end the scourge of human trafficking, and we will defend the dignity of human life."

"I will use Title 42 to end the child trafficking crisis by returning all trafficked children to their families in their home countries and without delay, and I will urge Congress to ensure that anyone caught trafficking children across our border receives the death penalty immediately..."

Trump's political actions reveal that he is one of a small band of ethically rich men, who recognize that their wealth and status should not be wielded to increase dependency but reduce it.

NEW: Former Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, who withdrew from consideration as President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for attorney general on Thursday, said Friday he will not be rejoining Congress next year.

“I’m still going to be in the fight, but it’s going to be from a new perch. I do not intend to join the 119th Congress,” he told Charlie Kirk in an interview.

Gaetz, first elected in 2016, had resigned from the House earlier this month after Trump selected him to lead the Department of Justice. But senior congressional leaders in both parties had been scrambling to determine if Gaetz could return to the House next year after winning reelection this fall.

“There are a number of fantastic Floridians who’ve stepped up to run for my seat, people who have inspired with their heroism, with their public service. And I’m actually excited to see Northwest Florida go to new heights and have great representation,” Gaetz told Kirk.

The U.S. Supreme Court sidestepped on Friday a decision on whether to allow shareholders to proceed with a securities fraud lawsuit accusing Meta's (META.O), opens new tab Facebook of misleading investors about the misuse of the social media platform's user data.

The justices, who heard arguments in the case on Nov. 6, dismissed Facebook's appeal of a lower court's ruling that had allowed a 2018 class action led by Amalgamated Bank (AMAL.O), opens new tab to proceed. The Supreme Court opted not resolve the underlying legal dispute, determining that the case should not have been taken up. Its action leaves the lower court's decision in place.

The court's dismissal came in a one-line order that provided no explanation.

The Facebook dispute was one of two cases to come before the Supreme Court this month involving the right of private litigants to hold companies to account for alleged securities fraud. The other one, involving the artificial intelligence chipmaker Nvidia (NVDA.O), opens new tab, was argued on Nov. 13. The Supreme Court has not ruled yet in the Nvidia case.

NATO and Ukraine will hold emergency talks Tuesday after Russia attacked a central city with an experimental, hypersonic ballistic missile that escalated the nearly 33-month-old war.

The conflict is “entering a decisive phase,” Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Friday, and “taking on very dramatic dimensions.”

Ukraine’s parliament canceled a session as security was tightened following Thursday’s Russian strike on a military facility in the city of Dnipro.

In a stark warning to the West, President Vladimir Putin said in a nationally televised speech to his nation that the attack with the intermediate-range Oreshnik missile was retaliation for Kyiv’s use of U.S. and British longer-range missiles capable of striking deeper into Russian territory.

Putin said Western air defense systems would be powerless to stop the new missile.
