How to overcome laziness?

After having spent some time surfing Quora, I have come to the conclusion that being lazy, and its close cousin, procrastination, are seemingly perennial problems with most young people of today.
To me, you don't need any fancy extrinsic method; all you need is the intrinsic you!
Being lazy and procrastinating are always personal choices. So don't use them as alibis.

All you need to do is to quickly make up your mind, get out of bed, and move your butt immediately so as to get what you need to do, done.

Don't wait to start until you feel motivated.
Feel motivated by starting and seeing results.

Motivation is all about action.
In fact, motivate follows action.
That's why you should start acting right away instead of waiting to feel motivated.

You will not know if something excites you or not if you do not act first.
As Thomas Jefferson once put it:

"Do you want to know who you are?
Don't ask! Act!
Action will delineate and define you."

Just as internationally acclaimed celebrity success coach and peak performance strategist Anthony Robbins puts it:

"Potential power is the ability to take action.
The path to success is to take determined action - massively and consistently."

So in a nut shell, nothing changes until something changes. This is Physics.
That's to say, nothing works, unless you do.

For things around you to change, first you must change. This is the harsh reality of living.

Unless you are prepared - mentally, physically, emotionally, and even spiritually - to do whatever it takes to change for the better, you are still in square one.

Get it?

Assalomu aleykum.

Good morning🌞

Juma muborak✨

May our day be productive💫

Now I am going to share how I got in those 20+ universities:🤩

Before applying you need to meet the requirements provided by the university you want to study!

Requirements:
1. IELTS/TOEFL score. Most say that your score does play a crucial role in getting scholarship, yeap it does but not main role tho, as long as your score is 6.5+ it is totally okay). By the way, you need to check each univer's requirement.

My score is 7!

2. SAT score. Last year, most US universities made it optional to send your SAT scores to university, so I took advantage of this😃. Though I had no SAT score, I got 40, 50, 60 or 70% scholarships from universities I applied for but still really expensive😕🤦‍♂. It is recommend to score 1400+ SAT scores to get full-ride scholarship. By the way, you need to check each univer's requirement.

My score is 0(now(.👀)

3. Essays. (I spent 3 days on writing them😬) This is the hardest part and most important part of the university admission! Whats more, this is the part that the university decides whether you should be accepted or not. It does check your thinking and what you can bring to university after accpetance. Using some useful contents on youtube.com amd googlle.com you can write an outstanding essay💥

Essays: Personal statement, extra-curricular activities and recommendation letter.

4. Transcripts. You guys need to translate your transcripts(tabel, diplom, atestat). And your avarage GPA should be 2.7 if I am not mistaken. By the way, you need to check each univer's requirement. You dont need to worry about calculation of your GPA scores they themselves usually calculate)

5. Interview. Some top rated universities have interviews.( I have never had any interview, so no info about it). By the way, you need to check each univer's requirement.

P.S this is what I can share for now guys, wait for big news soon💥✌️

Sharing is caring😃☺️

IELTS Writing Task 2: from plan to paragraph

When you have written a plan, you then need to turn your notes into full sentences. Let's try this using the paragraph plan below.
Paragraph plan:
- High street shops are disappearing because of online stores.
- Online shopping is faster, cheaper and more convenient.
- People can sit at home, search for deals, receive delivery the next day.
- It is impossible for normal stores to compete with the range of choice.
- Personal example: recent purchases on Amazon.

Full paragraph:
In my opinion, high street shops are disappearing due to competition from online shopping websites, which are cheaper and more convenient. Web-based stores allow customers to search for the best deals, make purchases from the comfort of their homes, and receive delivery of their purchased items the next day. Furthermore, it is impossible for traditional bricks-and-mortar stores to compete with the range of choice that can be found online. For example, I recently used the website Amazon to buy some fairly rare academic textbooks that were not stocked at my local bookshop. As a customer, the fact that I can find any product imaginable online makes it almost pointless for me to make a trip to my local high street

What are the best books for the IELTS in 2021-2022?

One needs to practice all the Cambridge sets For IELTS be it for any year. Cambridge 6 to Cambridge 15 are very important for scoring good. Apart from practicing these you can go for Oxford practice sets, Collins,IELTS trainer and Mcgraw-hill sets.

Combination of all these sets will help you score better in the exam.

I hope this was helpful :)

When should one start preparing for the SATs?

A much better baseline to use is 40 hours of prep. In this case, every hour can substantially help you.
It's important to figure out how many hours you specifically will need to improve by in order to get the score you want.

Set a SAT goal score. This score is the one most likely to get you accepted into all the schools you're applying to. This score is essentially a starting point for your SAT prep.
In general, the more time you devote to studying, the higher the score you increase you can expect to have. Here are our estimates for the total number of hours you'll need to prep based on the SAT score improvement you want:

0-30 point improvement: 10 hours

30-70 point improvement: 20 hours

70-130 point improvement: 40 hours

130-200 point improvement: 80 hours

200-330 point improvement: 150 hours+

Now that you know how many hours you'll need to study for the SAT, you can calculate possible weekly or monthly schedules based on how much free time you have each week. For example, if I want to improve my SAT score by 100 points, I'll need to study for around 40 hours. Thus, I should study about four hours a week if I have two and a half months before the test day, or 10 hours a week if I only have a month left.

Where can I find someone to evaluate my writing for the IELTS (online for free)?

I prepare students for IELTS. I have been doing it for months.

I will happily evaluate your writing for free.

I will tell you: “It’s good.”, “It needs some work.” or “It needs a lot of work.”
That’s what ‘free’ buys you.

If you want a meaningful and useful evaluation of your writing, then you need to ‘cough up some dough’. (I’ll give you that bit of colloquial English for free. See how generous I am?)

If you evaluate the importance of your IELTS score as being such that you are looking for free evaluations, then why should anyone evaluate your writing with any greater amount of care?
I charge 5, 6 dollars for one hour’s detailed assessment. If your writing score is not worth 5, 6 dollars, then I don’t know why you are taking the exam.
