Interior of the Old Pennsylvania's Train Station - 1910
It stood 150 feet high, and was one of the America's largest Tartarian buildings, built to stand thousand years to come, but it was sadly demolished only 50 years later.
The official narrative as to why it was demolished, and I kid you not, they claimed that they couldn't maintain it. It was demolished and replaced by a modernist-eye-sore.
In my opinion this was a monumental act of vandalism against one of the largest and finest landmarks of its age.
