✈️ Telegram is testing a new way to bypass blocking!

💻 An experimental type of web proxy has been discovered in the Telegram Desktop code. It transmits encrypted traffic through WebView over HTTPS or WebSocket, making the connection appear as similar to regular web browsing to DPI systems.

🔒 The technology emerged amid increasing blocking of MTProxy; regular proxies can now be recognized by their traffic characteristics. The new approach should make Telegram connection detection significantly more difficult, but the feature is currently in testing and is not officially available for general use.

Independent researchers have published a technical analysis of the USD1 smart contract issued by World Liberty Financial. If the study's findings are confirmed, the contract includes functions that could have serious implications for stablecoin holders.

According to the analysis, the issuer holds contract-level authority to move USD1 from a user's address to another wallet without their consent. Crucially, these rights operate directly at the token level, regardless of whether the asset is held in a standard wallet, a cold wallet, or a multisig setup.

An even more serious issue concerns code consistency. Researchers claim that the USD1 code published on World Liberty’s official GitHub differs from the version actually running on the blockchain. Their data indicates that following an update in April 2026, "drain" and "reallocate" functions appeared in the deployed version—functions that are absent from the published code.

This is significant because users and auditors typically analyze the published source code to understand the extent of the issuer's authority.

Many centralized stablecoins feature freezing mechanisms. However, it is far more concerning if the published source code actually differs from the code running on the network. With stablecoins, contract transparency is a matter of user trust. That is why I would personally scrutinize USD1 very carefully before buying it!

⚙️ TRON is preparing a major network update!

TRON is getting ready to update the TRON Virtual Machine (TVM) to enhance its compatibility with the Ethereum ecosystem. A vote by Super Representatives to activate these new features is scheduled for August 25.

The update introduces support for the CLZ operation and P-256 signature verification. This should streamline TRON's interaction with Ethereum infrastructure and facilitate better support for modern authentication methods, including hardware keys and passkeys.

It is worth noting that the technical groundwork was already laid in the GreatVoyage-v4.8.2 release; the current step involves activating the relevant network parameters. The necessary changes have already been approved via a vote on the Nile Testnet on August 13.

The network is gradually aligning more closely with Ethereum in terms of standards and tools, which could make it easier for developers to port and adapt applications. "I've been communicating with a trader for a year. His bingx nickname is Michael74. He recently suggested I switch from Binance to BingX. He has a personal manager there, just like a trader. And he could get me some perks. I fell for it and switched.

I was given VIP-2 status.

Michael74 said I could get more bonuses from the exchange. To do this, I had to sign up to copy his trades. It's called "copy trading." I signed up. At first, for just $500. And the exchange gave me a bonus of $500, too. Then I copied his trades for 160,000.

Michael74 made 94 trades on the BTC-USDT pair in 6 minutes. He used leverage. He lost all my 160,000 in exchange fees. Of the 160,000 lost, 148,000 was just that: the commission.

The exchange takes a commission on every trade. On the trade size, not on the profit. 90x leverage means: with 160,000, a position worth 14 million is opened. The commission is on the entire 14 million. One entry/exit eats up 6.75% of the money. Michael74 did this 94 times in 6 minutes. He opened a trade, and then closed it two seconds later.

This morning, I learned that the exchange gives half of the trading commission to Michael74. The exchange pays the person who referred you up to half of your commission. That's 74,000 dollars in seven minutes. Receiving the commission was the goal.

I'm sure BingX employees themselves are involved in this scam, given the bonuses I received."
