He wrote yesterday that a native Gram wallet is coming to every Telegram app this summer, with instant zero-fee transfers.
Non-custodial means the keys sit with the user, not the platform. Until now people installed those wallets deliberately, one by one. This time they land in the pockets of users who never planned to touch crypto at all.
There is no firm launch date, no list of supported assets and no technical spec from Telegram yet. Gram is the former Toncoin — the coin was renamed last month.
What it means for us: if the wallet really ships inside every client, keeping a recovery phrase safe becomes a mass-market problem — and the mass market does not keep it safe. That is where the next wave of theft comes from.
