Bessent joined Soros Fund Management (SFM) in 1991 and was a partner there throughout the 1990s, eventually becoming the head of the London office. In 1992, Bessent was a leading member of the team whose bet regarding the collapse of the British pound garnered over $1 billion for the firm. His bet against the Japanese yen in 2013 brought additional profit.

Bessent founded Key Square Group in 2015 with Michael Germino, who had been the global head of capital markets at SFM. Key Square uses geopolitics and economics to make macro investments. Key Square received a $2 billion anchor investment from George Soros.

Bessent and his husband, former New York City prosecutor John Freeman, have two children.

Behind this new exuberance, however, is a grim economic reality. There is no sense in which the economy is healthy. No matter what data you examine, you see some very dark clouds. The debt addiction by government, Wall Street, institutions, and households is palpable and, once you examine the numbers, truly scary.

Real income is down and falling. The U.S. dollar buys likely 40 percent less of goods and services than it bought just four years ago.

Europe is not unaware that it is far better off importing from Russia than the United States, which makes trade negotiations with Europe extremely difficult. Energy and debt assets are the only bargaining chips the United States has, and those are being eaten away in real time.

What does an incoming administration do with an economy mired in an unannounced inflationary recession, a weak production sector, and a debt overhang the likes of which the world has never seen? A good mood and Trump dances only get a nation so far.

I did have high hopes, especially after Homan was appointed Border Czar...but now that Donald Trump has entirely handed over the State Department to Israel...let's say my bar has been lowered.

Kristi Noem sealed it for me. Her laws against criticism of Jews has made the New Testament illegal in South Dakota because the law states explicitly that you cannot say that Jews killed Jesus.

Unless there's some hidden plan here, the capture of the US by Israel will be sealed and our slavery to the Globalists completed. If you haven't figured it out, the Globalists, the Swamp, the Elites...

To reverse the damage wrought by financialization, we must reverse financialization.

With all the cheap rental housing gentrified, those on the margins ended up on the street. This includes addicts and those suffering from mental illness, but it also includes people who fell on hard times who were now priced out of any shelter other than an underpass or sidewalk.

Let's tell the story in charts. Here is the Case-Shiller housing index, which shows the 2007-8 housing bubble as a modest blip compared to the current financialization-driven Everything Bubble which has pushed housing valuations out of reach in desirable (i.e. places with plenty of jobs) regions.

I do not believe he is backtracking on any of his previous statements. RFKJr has consistently stated vaccines should be evidence-based and a CHOICE. This is the only way - PEOPLE need to be the ones to make the choice! He'll just be called a tyrant and a dictator if he makes the choice for everyone unilaterally.  Can you imagine how many people would blame not getting a vaccine and would hold RFK personally responsible if they got sick?!

He's going to facilitate the REAL studies and information being made public. If people can read, then most logical people are going to stop taking vaccines. The real studies are horrifying. There's almost zero efficacy for any of them and VARS shows the harm done by many, if not all vaccines, are catastrophic.

I imagine it doesn't take long for people declining vaccines to put Big Pharma out of business.
