Hello kids, how’s it going on,🙌😕I know it may feel discouraging to discuss this topic, but it is important to provide clarity regarding retake and resit exams🤝
1. If you fail because of attendance:😴
•If your absences are more than 25% for a course, you’ll be withdrawn from it.
•You’ll have to retake the course next semester and pay 500k UZS per credit ( 3 million sooms for a 6-credit course).
2. If you fail because of low grades:😊
For example, if you fail Calculus 1 this semester, you’ll need to retake it next semester or whenever it is offered again.
•If Calculus 1 is not available next semester, you’ll have to wait until it’s offered.
•You cannot take Calculus 2 until you pass Calculus 1.
3. Resit exams:All previous homework and assignment grades are reset to zero.😱
•To pass, you must score at least 40 out of 100 in the resit exam.
•The maximum grade you can get for a resit is C (50–59.9)🤦♂
⚡️If you fail the resit exam, you’ll have to retake the course in the next available semester.
