🇮🇱🇸🇾🇮🇷 - Israel has claimed responsibility for a commando raid on an Iranian missile manufacturing site in Syria, which occurred on September 8.

The operation was carried out by the Israeli Air Force's elite Shaldag Unit, who rappelled down from helicopters to raid the Scientific Studies and Research Center (CERS) in the Masyaf area in the Hama Governorate.

The target was an underground facility used by Iranian forces to produce precision missiles for Hezbollah. During the raid, Israeli commandos removed documents and then destroyed the facility using explosives. Israeli aircraft also struck multiple targets in the surrounding area, reportedly killing at least 14 people and wounding 43.
