What if I told you… you could be walking through the worst trial of your life the kind where your heart feels like it might stop at any moment and still walk through it with the fullness of JOY? 🥹
It’s true.
You can.
I am living proof.
This is not denial.
It is not fake positivity.
It is the supernatural joy that only comes from the presence of Jesus, even while the fire is still burning. 🔥
“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalm 16:11
James does not say if the trial comes. He says when:
“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2–4
You can be grieved and still greatly rejoice.
Peter said it plainly: for a little while you may suffer grief in all kinds of trials, yet in this you greatly rejoice with a joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, because you love Him even though you have not seen Him (1 Peter 1:6–8).
Even when everything around you fails, you can still say with Habakkuk:
“Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food… yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.” Habakkuk 3:17–18
The joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Not the absence of pain His presence in the middle of it.
Paul, who knew suffering, wrote: “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice” (Philippians 4:4). And he meant it from a prison cell.
We also glory in our sufferings, because suffering produces perseverance, perseverance character, and character hope and that hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:3–5).
Jesus already told us the truth of this world: “In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
Because He lives in you, that same overcoming joy can live in you too right here, right now, in the trial. Not after it ends. In it.
Fix your eyes on Him. 🙌🏼
Stay in His presence. ✨
The fullness of joy 🥹 is already there.
The secret to joy in the midst of heartbreaking trials is to ABIDE in HIS presence.
Put the worship on all day. Even if you have to buy open ear AirPods so you can listen to worship while still hearing the outside world (needed for work etc).
Read 📚 the Word.

Take EVERY SINGLE THOUGHT 💭 captive. EVERY single one.
If it’s not about Jesus, you have no business entertaining it.
❌ You do not have to figure out outcome.
✍🏼 Here’s the secret to life…READY????
🆘 YOUR JOB is to obey the Lord. In order to know what’s from Him, you must be in the Word!
🆘 GOD’S JOB is everything else INCLUDING outcome.
Let go of your need to control and repent for your lack of trust in the Lord. You needing to control the process and outcome is just rebellion. 😭
When we do that we are telling God He can not be trusted and He does not have our best interest at heart. 😭🫣
God is GOOD.
God is on control.
If you are walking through it it’s because He brought you to it. To grow you. To stretch you. To purify you that you may look even more like Jesus.
This too shall pass. I promise.
But we have to take the test and pass with integrity and honor that we may not have to RETAKE the test later again. 💀🫣
