I woke up this morning and saw: Fragment is introducing
mandatory identity verification for the purchase and sale of Telegram services.
KYC in every hand:
💫 Mandatory verification: Now, to purchase “stars” and other services, including Premium or an anonymous number, you need to go through KYC. (anonymous number and KYC - shouted directly)
📸Verification process: Fragment uses a third-party service, Sumsub, with an automatic system for verifying user identities.
📄 Required data: Buyers need to provide an email, phone number, a scan of an identification document, and a photograph of a face (possibly fluorography)
You can check the verification of your Telegram account and TON wallet on the Fragment profile page (
https://fragment.com/my/profile).
Purchasing Telegram Premium and stars through
@PremiumBot and app stores works unchanged (for now).
In theory, anonymous numbers and usernames can be purchased for crypto without KYC on dex-marketplaces, for example,
Getgems.io.
But even if the NFT was purchased on a third-party site, its activation in Telegram occurs through Fragment. And I don’t know if unverified users will be able to use their NFTs in Telegram.
Owning an NFT does not guarantee that the purchase can be used
Well, that is, we are opening vacancies for drops.
Good fu*king morning everyone!
