PVR Ticket price calculation

What is the cheapest recliner price in PVR?
I watched Spiderman across the spider verse last year and it was 250₹ per ticket for recliner. Totally worth it.12pm noon show.
It's 350 now, the cheapest I can see. Wondering whether the price went up or is there anything I need to know about their pricing.?

Best restaurants open at 1-2 am

why are bullets so expensive in kochi?

i saw a thunderbird for sale a while ago, and it was a 2014 model and he was selling it for 50. fair price, but a bullet or classic of the same year goes from at least 90k. is it because they don't make thunderbirds anymore?

Have you read this book? Any idea where I might find it?

So this is a book I got from my school in or around 2015 and had read multiple times during my school days. I got it when the author of this book visited my school and he selled some copies to students. But then I lost it while shifting and been trying to find it with no luck.


So it had a coverpicture of 2 school kids walking in rain holding chembu Ila. It was a collection of childhood memories of the author. I remember some chapters like him going to pallikoodam ,where the writing was done on sand, after which aashan's wife wud feed them kappa, going to malayattoor with family and a friendly lady stealing his gold chain, getting chicken pox and his mother bringing neem leaves, family going to vallarpadam church by boat.. Does any of this ring a bell? Any chance you might have read this book?


It was wonderful to read how it was here, many years before. It's when I first felt vicarious nostalgia. The author is from kochi, maybe vypin.

Kochi Metro Services till 11:30 pm on Friday (8Mar2024)

Kochi metro train services will be extended till 11:30 pm on Friday and the services will commence at 4:30 am on Saturday as part of arrangements to handle an increase in traffic due to Aluva Shivarathri celebrations.

I miss Kochi and it's people so much

Idk why but I just felt like putting this out here. I was on a business trip to Kochi that lasted 7 months, I got along so well with the people here. The city is amazing and clean. As someone who grew up in Palakkad and left to Chennai for work, I felt it so easy to get along with people. Here in Chennai it's hard to relate with the people and form relationships but the 7 months in Kochi felt like the best months of my life, I had friends and people I could hang out with. Visited almost every spot of the city. Kochi seems to have a lot of young people especially in the Kakkanad - Infopark areas. Fort Kochi is awesome.. Mattanchery palace is breathtaking... Everything is clean, it is not longer too hot and Tlthe air actually smells good and is breathable unlike in Chennai (it smells like piss everywhere here). It felt so good to speak my mother tongue again in a professional environment. People tend to be more chill, easygoing and understanding here. I could go to my hometown and spend time with my family back at home every weekend since I was closer now. The saddest part of it all - it ends. Just like anything great. Now I'm back at my original office where life is monotonous and people are... not as chill. I miss you all. I wish to be able to find a job in Kochi/ anywhere in Kerala literally and settle in my own home state.

leaving kochi in a few months

After 9 years, I’m finally moving on to another city to do masters.

Since I grew up here, I’ve done almost everything and been almost everywhere in this relatively small city.

From late night airport drives, to having beer in Vypin beach after sunset.


Went to every single riverside and railway bridges (even the tunnels under them) around thevara-kundannoor.


Living in Panampilly and watching it grow from a simple planned residential area built on a paadam, to a bustling spot for ppl around my age.


What other underrated experiences can someone have here, so that I can say farewell to this city that took care of me so well throughout my school and college years?

Any gyms with good machines/equipments in Panampilly Nagar?

I'm looking for a good gym near Panampilly Nagar. I like working with machines(leg extensions , lat pull down machines etc) and I didn't see them in most gym pictures I saw on Google nearby. Please help me find a good gym nearby that caters to my requirement. Thanks in advance :)
