"
He was silent but brave. You could rely on him and trust him with your life. We were going to this battle together, joking about adventures of the past, making new plans. He was waiting for the birth of his daughter and the moment when he would see her for the first time. But, his fate turned out differently," says Dmytro Kyrychenko's comrade-in-arms.
▪️ Exactly one year ago, a cold trench at the positions near Lukianivka. Kyiv region has been one of the hottest spots on the frontline for a month. The first large-scale counter-offensive. The dampness of the fresh soil chills you to the bone. The battle lasts for the whole night. The sounds of shellings and firefights were barely audible through the frantic pounding of a burning heart.
Morning is coming soon.
Gunpowder mixed with the morning fog. Not everyone will return from the battle.
A single shot - silence and Eternal life.
This was the last moment for our soldier, the commander of the reconnaissance platoon of the 1st company of the Revanche battalion,
Dmytro Kyrychenko.
He was one of those who bravely went into combat, looking into the eyes of death.
The best of us are the first to take the fight.
We remember the glory of our heroes and will continue their legacy.
