This one is a bit different. Hans Zoeberlein was a Stormtrooper in WW1, a Nazi supporter and fighter in WW2, and even trained Werwolf recruits after the war! This absolute chad wrote one of the most influential books about WW1 in the Reich, which got tens of reprints and editions, but no English translations are available. This is why I and my good pal Google Translate decided to fix it!
The quality of the translation is going to be sub-par, and initially I wanted to keep it for myself, but after reading some pages yesterday before sleeping I was amazed at how much is still conveyed through the unadaptness of the translation. I'm not one to get easily moved, but the book managed to send chills down my spine with the descriptions of artillery shelling. Definitely a must read!
