Sometimes I honestly don’t understand why so many Telegram channels are so actively begging for boosts — running giveaways, constantly reminding people in their posts. The channels are full of these requests, yet it’s often unclear what’s actually so important about it.

To be frank, this whole boost story feels a bit overrated. Sure, they give you additional features and some improvements, but in reality, most of them aren’t truly necessary. They’re more like pleasant bonuses than essential tools.

At the moment, my channel is at level 8, and it’s more than enough for me. I have everything I need for comfortable channel management: custom reactions, auto-translation, and the basic features. I don’t feel like I’m missing anything critical beyond this level.
Sure, level 10 unlocks better customization, but even that doesn’t seem essential or must-have.

And every time I stumble upon yet another post asking for boosts, I involuntarily ask myself: why? Is it really that important, or have people just gotten caught up in the hype?

Am I missing something here?
