#Older than the universe?😧☹️😲
Scientists has found a star which is older than the universe. The star name is Methuselah or HD140283. This star age show us that there is no big bang or it may disprove the big bang theory. The star is located in our home galaxy. It is 190.1 light year (for those who don't know what is light year. Light year or ly is the distance traveled by light in year and is equal to ly=9.46 trillion kilometre. And Methuselah is 190.1 ly or 1.798346 x 10^15 kilometre) away from our home planet. Astronomers refined the star's age to about 14.3 billion years, plus or minus 800 million years. If it is plus that mean Methuselah is created after 800 million year after the big bang. And if it is minus then that is total evidence that big bang is wrong.
So science of cosmos member l hope you are cleaver enough to recognize that the name of the star "Methuselah" is actually come from Bible "ማቶሳላ" who lived over 900 years.

#The Big Bang
Telescope observation show as that the universe is expanding in an incredible speed, galaxies are moving apart from each other and the universe is expanding endlessly. The increasing in average distance between galaxies over time implies the idea that there were close to each other or even there was together in the past. The expansion rate that the universe is moving or expanding implies that the expansion began 13.7 billion years ago. This beginning is what we call it the big bang.
What is big bang, it is a name give to the event thought to mark the birth of the universe. And big bang theory is the scientific theory of the universe’s earliest moments, stating that all the matter in our observable universe came into being at a single moment in time as an extremely hot, dense mixture of subatomic particle and radiation.
The big bang theory is the currently accepted explanation of the beginning of the universe. The theory proposes that at early time all matter was compacted the situation was the universe was very hot and dense and all matter in the universe was extremely compacted. And a cosmic explosion which occurred 13.7 billion years ago called the big bang mark the birth of the universe and since that the universe is been expanding and cooling. According to the theory this explosion leads to the formation of matter and energy.

#The two assumptions Einstein explained
#The first explanation
That light is composed of photons or corpuscles which is the energy which is given by Plank’s relationship.
#The second explanation
That an atom in the metal can absorb either a whole photon or nothing, part of the energy of the absorbed photon frees an electron which requires a fixed energy W, also known as Work function of the metal, the rest is converted into kinetic energy meu^2/2 of the emitted electron where me is the mass of the electron and u is the velocity.

If v is less than vo where hvo =W, thr no of electrons emitted, not all the experimental results shown above was known in 1905, but all of Einstein predictions have been verified since BOHRS THEORY OF THE ATOM.






#EINSTEIN AND THE PHOTOELECTRIC EFFECT 1n 1905, Einstein extended the Planck’s hypothesis to explain the photoelectric effect, which is defined as the emission of electrons by a metal surface when it is radiated by light or more energetic photons.
The kinetic energy of the emitted energy electron depend on the frequency v of the radiation and not on the intensity for a given metal There is also a threshold frequency vo below which no electron can be emitted Also emission takes place as soon as light shines on the surface and there is no recognizable delay, Einstein showed that these results can be explained by two assumptions.

During the last decade, sky maps of the radiation relic of the Big Bang—first by NASA’s Cosmic Background Explorer (COBE) satellite and more recently by other experiments, including Antarctic balloon flights and NASA’s Microwave Anisotropy Probe (MAP)— have displayed the wrinkles imprinted on the Universe in its first moments. Gravity has pulled these wrinkles into the lumpy Universe of galaxies and planets we see today.


#Cephus_The_King

Cephus, the legendary king of Ethiopia, was placed in the night sky just ahead of his wife, Cassiopeia, as they rotate around the North Star, Polaris. He must have been a weak king allowing his wife to continually boast of her beauty and in the end be willing to let Cassiopeia sacrifice their own daughter, Andromeda, to Cetus the sea monster. Since he did not stop Cassiopeia from her continual boasting of her beauty, Cephus was placed next to her in the sky where he must listen for all time to her boasting. His constellation was given faint stars which are somewhat difficult to see. Another story relates that Cephus was one of the Argonauts, the valiant band of heroes that sailed the ship Argo in quest of the Golden Fleece. According to this legend, Cephus was changed into a constellation at his death.
