Another kite from Gaza was found today morning in an agricultural field near the Israeli community of Kfar Aza, the latest in a series of similar discoveries in Israeli communities along the Gaza border.
Israel's Minister of Defense office:
The Minister of Defense, Israel Katz, instructed the IDF to act forcefully against the phenomenon of launching balloons, kites, or drones from Gaza toward the communities of the home front and to take all necessary measures to prevent this: including targeting Hamas leaders responsible for the launches and the perpetrators themselves, evacuating neighborhoods and areas from which the launches are carried out, and action against the terror infrastructure in place:
We consider every launch to be an act of war in every respect and anyone who organizes, launches, or enables these launches will be dealt with immediately and with the utmost severity. I have instructed the IDF to act immediately and forcefully against any instance of launches from Gaza toward the communities of the western Negev.
We consider every launch to be an act of war in every respect and we are committed to the absolute defense of Israeli communities. A balloon is treated the same as a kite, and a kite the same as a drone, whether with explosives or without.
We will not allow a return to the reality before October 7, and anyone who organizes, launches, or enables these launches will be dealt with immediately and with the utmost severity.
