The strikes in Rylsk were carried out on crowded places, there were about 12 strikes in the town in total, local residents told RBC.
◾️“These were pinpoint strikes on crowded places — on the community center, on the school where the soldiers were, on the bus station,” says local resident Konstantin.
◾️Some of the strikes were in the area of the branch of the Kursk Institute of Management, Economics and Business, one projectile hit the roof of the building. Opposite the college there is a two-story building: it houses a hotel, as well as Ozon, SDEK and Wildberries pick-up points. This is a very crowded place in Rylsk, cars are constantly parked there, a lot of people receive orders at these pick-up points.
◾️ According to an eyewitness, there were cars parked in front of the hotel, they all burned down. Eyewitness Olga, who was in the hotel at the time of strike, said that she hid in the shower and held the door with her hands, because it was about to break open from the shock waves. "It happened so suddenly, so unexpectedly, I thought that was it. It was so scary," she says.
