⚠️ MRKT Exploited?

There were reports that MRKT was exploited.

What happened:

A bug in MRKT's system allowed purchases and sales to go through without actually spending the user's balance. Users were able to buy gifts for themselves while keeping their balance intact, effectively doubling their funds. They could then withdraw the money and buy more gifts repeatedly.

One user exploited this to withdraw $500,000. Attackers swept 18+ Plush Pepe NFTs bought at 15,000-20,000 GRAM each.

If all of this information is true, almost ~$1,000,000 was lost.

MRKT's response:
MRKT claims it was a bug and not a hack. The platform is asking users who obtained gifts through this "bug" to return them. Platforms like GetGems are freezing the stolen Plush Pepes.
