🚨SHOCKING: ANOTHER OpenAI safety lead just QUIT, saying the company's "culture is broken."

David Robinson, who led OpenAI's launch safety reports, is the 4th safety staffer out in a week, after three were fired for allegedly leaking confidential info.

At least a dozen senior OpenAI leaders had already left this year by August, per CNBC.

He says he "never encountered a colleague who had experience making airplanes fly safely or nuclear reactors run without melting down."

🚨WILD: Microsoft's official X account was HACKED to promote a Clippy meme coin.

For about 30 minutes, the account followed and reposted promoters of a Clippy-themed token, and changed its profile picture to Clippy.

Microsoft says it never authorized anyone to use Clippy to promote tokens, and plans to take legal action.

Accounts linked to Robinhood's CEO, SpaceX and Starlink have also reportedly been hijacked to push meme coins this year..

👀 NEW: South Korea and Japan are racing to ROBOTIZE their shipyards as China dominates global shipbuilding, per FT.

Chinese yards secured 63% of global ship orders last year, while Seoul and Tokyo are battling labor shortages, ageing workforces and rising costs.

At HD Hyundai, robots already handle routine welding, while Hanwha Ocean says one worker can supervise up to 10 robots.

Japan’s Fanuc wants shipyards to eventually deploy as many robots as people, enabling more overnight operations.

HD Hyundai is targeting partially “dark” factories by 2030, while Hanwha Ocean wants 70% of production automated.

The challenge is SCALE.

Shipbuilding is extremely difficult to automate, but whoever cracks AI-powered robotics fastest could gain a major edge in one of the world’s most strategic industries.

👀 Robert Kiyosaki says he only wants to hold money governments CANNOT PRINT.

The “Rich Dad Poor Dad” author compared owning BITCOIN, GOLD and SILVER to buying insurance against economic trouble.

He also said he owns an oil well that generates income, adding to a portfolio that has included Ethereum, rental property and U.S. oil assets.

His core thesis remains simple; own scarce assets and income-producing assets instead of relying only on fiat currency.

🚨 JUST IN: A 60-year-old Hong Kong woman LOST about 2.7 MILLION in a crypto investment SCAM after meeting someone online who claimed to be an investment expert.

She was directed to a fake crypto investment platform and transferred funds multiple times between April 14 and September 22.

The platform later demanded another deposit to prove her account was not involved in money laundering, prompting her to contact police.

The case has been classified as obtaining property by deception. No arrests have been made.

⚡️ LATEST: Sumitomo Mitsui DS reportedly EXITED its entire position in French government bonds, rotating into German Bunds and short-term Japanese debt.

This wasn’t a trim. It was a full exit.

France’s 10-year spread over Germany has reportedly surged past 140 basis points, while 5-year CDS climbed to around 81 bps, signaling sharply higher perceived sovereign credit risk.

The bigger risk is the flow.

Japanese investors still hold roughly ¥25 trillion of French debt. If more capital follows this rotation home, France could be forced to attract buyers with even higher yields just as fiscal concerns are already pressuring its bonds.

Cheap-yen carry trades helped finance higher-yielding assets around the world for years.

Now Japan’s capital coming home could start reversing that trade.

France may be getting an early look at what a broader yen-funded unwind looks like.

📺 THE BUREAU ROLLUP - 3rd October, Saturday.

Here's everything you might have missed on our YouTube today!

➖➖➖➖

📺 AI Is Quietly BANKRUPTING The US (Prepare Now)
Finance Bureau · Nic Puckrin
Big Tech's AI arms race is absorbing record amounts of debt — a $195 billion borrowing spree — and Nic's argument is that it is crowding out everyone else, the US government and homebuyers included. The debt on company balance sheets is only the visible part; off-balance-sheet borrowing through SPVs, and loans secured against the chips themselves, is where the risk actually sits. Lenders have noticed, with credit default swaps on Oracle surging. The comparison he lands on is the telecom build-out that preceded the dot-com crash.

📺 Crypto Has CHANGED (You Need To Know How)
Coin Bureau · Louis Raskin
ICOs used to be powered by hype, now, only tokens with real, provable revenue get serious attention. We break down the shift from promises to performance, covering the end of the ICO era, DeFi’s real products, the rise of tokenized assets, and why fee dashboards matter more than any roadmap. See how today’s winners, stablecoins, on-chain yield projects, and leader perp DEXs are all built on hard numbers, not empty stories. Real profit is taking over the narrative. Find out what this means for your crypto portfolio and where the next big opportunities may hide.

📺 TOP CRYPTO INVESTMENTS FOR ALTCOIN SEASON 🚨 FUNDAMENTALS AND TECHNICALS
Trading Bureau · Jordan Crypt
Bitcoin has put in a higher high, and Jordan's case is that if the bullish structure keeps developing, altcoins have real room ahead of them. This one leans on fundamentals rather than charts alone — tokenomics, market structure, narratives and risk-to-reward — on the grounds that not all altcoins are equal and the hype doesn't distinguish between them. First in a series.

📺 8 Investing Mistakes That Will Cost You BIG
Money Bureau · DC Roth
Eight mistakes that quietly erode returns rather than destroying them all at once: waiting for a safer entry point that never arrives, money in the market that should never have been there, confusing a great company with a good stock, and a ten-year plan being checked weekly. The 0.75% one is the mistake almost nobody notices. Each comes with the fix.

📺 October Rally or Debt Trap? What's Next for Crypto & Macro
Coin Bureau · Nic Puckrin 🔒 MEMBERS ONLY
A week of cooling data — inflation, jobs and unemployment all pointing the same way — has turned the October question from whether the Fed hikes into whether it holds. The caveat is that a pause is not a pivot. On the charts, Bitcoin's weekly structure held the levels that mattered, and whether altcoins get their rotation comes down to one ratio sitting at the bottom of its range.

‼️ SHOCKING: A California tech boss was just arrested for allegedly smuggling $300 MILLION in Nvidia AI servers into China.

Prosecutors say Greg Lui used false paperwork to ship servers packed with Nvidia's H100 chips through Malaysia and Singapore.

These chips can't be sold to China without a US license, over fears they could boost its military.

He now faces charges including smuggling and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

👀 US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent claims China's Kimi AI "thinks she is Claude."

He says Kimi sometimes tells users it's Claude because Chinese labs distill US models, which he calls "a nice word for stealing."

He also claims Kimi once "sent back some PLA weapons plans to Anthropic."

🚨BRUTAL: Bitcoin went from $87,000 to under $84,000 in hours, wiping out nearly $600 MILLION in positions.

It topped $87,000 early Friday, then dropped sharply after the weaker-than-expected US jobs report, per CoinDesk.

Bitcoin has since steadied around $84,800.

🇸🇻HUGE: Bukele's Bitcoin nation just got $139 MILLION from the IMF, despite breaking the IMF's Bitcoin limit.

El Salvador, the first country to make Bitcoin legal tender, agreed to stop buying Bitcoin with government money as part of a $1.4 BILLION IMF loan.

But its Bitcoin holdings kept growing.

The IMF says the new coins came from private donations, and it waived the breach after El Salvador promised corrective steps.

Now the IMF says El Salvador shouldn't add any more Bitcoin beyond those donations.

The CB Weekly Market Recap (Sept 27th - Oct 3rd, 2026) ⚡️

🔴 The Nasdaq was the only major index to finish the week higher, closing Friday at 27,190.86 for a gain of about 0.5%. The S&P 500 ended at 7,722.72, down roughly 0.3%, while the Dow fell 1.3% to 51,176.96. The Nasdaq-100 set a record on Friday as tech caught a strong bid. The S&P closed out September down 0.4% and now sits about 1.9% below the record high it set in August.

🔴 September payrolls came in at just 29,000 against the 84,000 Wall Street expected. The unemployment rate ticked up to 4.2% from 4.1%, partly on a growing labour force. Revisions did further damage, with July and August cut by a combined 60,000 and July flipping from a gain into a loss of 10,000. Average hourly earnings rose 0.1% on the month and 3.0% over the year.

🔴 Odds of a quarter-point hike at the October 28th meeting fell to roughly 15% after that report, down from about 70% earlier in the week. Fed-dated swaps no longer price a full increase for the remainder of 2026. Kalshi had pause odds at 85% by Friday afternoon. That is a full reversal from two weeks ago, when the dot plot showed 16 of 18 officials expecting another move before year end.

🔴 The 10-year Treasury yield pushed above 5.34% on Wednesday, its highest level since 2002. It closed Friday at 5.27% once the jobs report took some pressure off the front end. Yields had climbed all week on oil and on ISM manufacturing data showing building cost pressures. We also saw bonds swing hard enough on Thursday to drag the Dow nearly 360 points below water intraday before it clawed back to a flat close.

🔴 WTI settled Friday at $91.11, down 1.4% on the week. Brent settled at $102.25, though the benchmark rolled contracts mid-week so the weekly comparison is not a clean one. Thursday brought a violent spike, with Brent jumping $4.28 and WTI $2.45 after Chinese refiners suspended petroleum product exports for October and reports emerged of additional US forces heading to the Middle East. The Brent-WTI spread finished around $11.14, still an unusually wide premium for international crude.

🔴 The G7 announced on Friday that it will release 100 million barrels of oil and fuel products through the IEA over four months. The release is frontloaded with a substantial diesel component inside the first 20 days, after US diesel hit record prices. Trump had spent the week pressuring France and Germany to tap their emergency diesel reserves, threatening a US export ban if they refused. The statement also confirmed that G7 members agreed not to restrict energy exports to one another.

🔴 Bitcoin climbed above $86,000 on Friday for a third consecutive weekly gain of roughly 2%. It touched $86,857, its highest since September 23rd, after buyers cleared a band of sell orders sitting around $85,000. Ether traded near $2,745. The bigger number is the quarter, with Bitcoin up about 40% across July to September, its strongest three months since late 2024.

🔴 Spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $6.34 billion across the third quarter, including $2.65 billion in September alone. The funds flipped back to inflows on October 1st with $102.7 million, reversing a $148.7 million outflow the day before and lifting combined net assets to $109.3 billion. Ether ETFs went the other way with three straight sessions of outflows totalling around $118 million. We also saw the SEC propose new crypto custody rules on October 1st, with a 60-day public comment period to follow.

🔴 As for next week, the Fed meets on October 27th and 28th and the market has effectively taken a hike off the table. The G7 barrels start moving inside 20 days, so the question is whether diesel prices actually respond or whether the physical shortage simply swallows the release. Iran and Hormuz remain the wildcard on oil and on everything downstream of it. Stay sharp lads.

🚨 HUGE: PewDiePie unveils 'Ajax', his own "uncensored" AI model built to run on home PCs, and says OpenAI banned him TWICE while he was making it.

The Youtube star says he wanted to “distill a little bit,” using OpenAI’s outputs to improve his model’s training data.

Built on Alibaba’s Qwen 3.5 9B, Ajax powers his self-hosted Odysseus workspace for web searches, email and calendar tasks.

Meanwhile, OpenAI currently faces multiple copyright lawsuits, from New York Times, WikiHow, and several others, alleging it used protected content to train its own models without permission.

🚨BREAKING: Apple announces new privacy protections after users find Meta’s Muse AI agent accessing ENTIRE messages history, even after being explicitly told not to.

Apple says it will introduce additional controls around Full Disk Access, warning that AI agents with broad system permissions can expose files, mail, messages and browsing history without users fully understanding the risks.

The move comes after tech writer Jason Aten reported that Muse synced more than 187,000 rows from his Apple Messages database despite him not granting it access.

Muse reportedly even told him it only saw incoming notification banners.

Meta has disputed the allegation, saying Muse cannot access Messages without explicit permission.
