Roséanne Park (Korean: 박채영 , born February 11, 1997) or better known as Rosé, is a South Korean singer and dancer. She is a member of the girl group Blackpink. She was born in New Zealand and raised in Melbourne, Australia.
Rosé attended Canterbury Girls' Secondary College in Melbourne. She started singing and learned to play the guitar and piano as a child and performed in the church choir.
In 2012, 15-year-old Rosé attended an audition in Australia for the South Korean record label YG Entertainment at the suggestion of her father. And ranks first among 700 participants. That same year, Rosé was given the opportunity to appear on labelmate G-Dragon's song "Without You" from the EP One of a Kind (2012). Her name was not published at the time of release with her credits revealed after her announcement as a member of Blackpink. The song peaked at number ten on South Korea's Gaon Music Chart and at number 15 on the Billboard Korea K-pop Hot 100.
