There should be a way to type an angular capital letter Ezh: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Latin_capital_letter_angular_Ezh.svg

LATIN CAPITAL LETTER EZH (U+01B7, "Ʒ") + VARIATION SELECTOR-1 (U+FE00) might be a good way to encode it

No negative width whitespace in Unicode :(
It would be cool to have at least negative width versions of U+2002..U+2006 (en, em, em/3, em/4, em/6 spaces) to overlay arbitrary graphemes
