Nov. 23, 1887: The Thibodaux “Massacre” was another attempted black uprising that was put down by a White posse. The Times Picayune wrote about it the next day.
Blacktivists try to rewrite this event as a black proletariat uprising put down by scared White plantation owners. It’s not true. White men of good character did what was necessary to defend their community from blm style savagery.
