Myanmar SAC’s National Solidarity & Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) and the Three Northern Alliances concluded a two-day peace talk on 2 June
2023.at Oriental Guest House Hotel, Myla City, according to the press release of SAC on Friday.
NSPNC and the three northern alliances, the MNDAA, TNLA The AA delegation continued discussion on the second day.
Member of the State Administration Council, Union Minister for Cabinet Office, NSPNC Chairman Lt. Gen. Ya Pyae ; Secretary of the committee, Lt. Gen. Win Bo Shin, Lt. Gen. Khin Zaw Oo (retired), working committee member Lt. Gen. Khin Zaw Oo (retired), , the Deputy Commander of the Triangle Regional Military Command Brigadier General Tun Myat Shwe, representatives from the Myanmar National Truth and Justice Party/Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNTJP/MNDAA) representatives from the Palaung State Liberation Front/Ta’ang National Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA) and the United League of Arakan/Arakan Army (ULA/AA) attended.
Both parties continued to discuss and negotiate on the issues that have not yet been completed on the first day.
On the first day, they discussed the issue of strengthening the multi-party democratic political system, the issue of building a union based on democracy and federalism, which is the desired goal of all ethnic people. They also discussed the issue of joint implementation for the peace and development of the Union and the issue of trust building with the ethnic armed groups . It is also reported that they discussed and negotiated the abolishment of the announcement of unlawful associations and the issue of humanitarian aid reaching smoothly to the people affected by the Mo Cha storm as soon as possible.
