My guest today is Ramon Parish, an assistant professor in Naropa University’s department of Interdisciplinary Studies. Ramon has been synthesizing mindfulness, embodiment, social justice, the environment, and ritual & ceremony for over a decade, and has helped usher hundreds of young people through contemporary threshold experiences. In our conversation today, we explore a dazzling array of themes, including: the impact of comics as modern mythologies, the power of healing personal and ancestral trauma through movement, the spiral dynamics of emergence, and how these uncertain times ask that we become riders of chaos.

THIS WEEK: Post-secondary plunder. Cornell, MIT, Rutgersβ€”can you guess what these prestigious U.S. centers of higher learning have in common? Well, together with scores of schools just like them, they all owe their existence and persistence to the systematic theft of Indigenous lands. Dating back to the late 1800s, this heartless campaign of dispossession has just been documented in agonizing detail by an Indigenous-led team of journalists at High Country News. Back at the roundtable with host/producer Rick Harp to discuss the report's findings are Candis Callison, associate professor in the School of Journalism at UBC, and Kim TallBear, associate professor in the Faculty of Native Studies at the University of Alberta. // Our theme is 'nesting' by birocratic.

Self-sabotage coach Jason Christoff is a straight-shooting truth-speaker well known to many fans of health freedom and conspiracy research. In this episode Jason walks us through globally employed techniques of mass-mind control and how they play out in plain site, as well as the negative effects they have on us. 🧩 He details the reasons why so few people have really got their lives together, and why self-sabotage is so rampant - as well as what we can do about it. From the adverse physiological effects of caffeine and alcohol to the ancient child-sacrificing cult of Molech that still operates in broad daylight right under our noses, this episode is a feast of solution-oriented truth-speaking and hard-hitting conspiracy excavation. ℹ️ Instead of doom and gloom, Jason offers an educated perspective that still holds the potential for humanity to rise up over the forces of manipulation and self-sabotage that have kept us down for far too long. πŸ‘Š
I enjoyed this one immensely and trust you will too! Special Guest: Jason Christoff.

Recent Headline: Mental Healthcare Prevents Human Trafficking & Repairs Intersectionalized Communities Through Communications Refuge: How To Speak & Understand The Languaging Of Trafficked Individuals & Trauma Recovery By Deepening Intuitive Listening

The messages transmitted by @IntuitivePublicRadio and our Intuitive network are single-link reference notes or forwarded items where severely disabled, multiply marginalized colleagues request support for specific community conversations.

Our community admins assist trafficking victims and other Intuitive Invisibles to post the links they would like to share in order to initiate lifesaving public and private conversations, anonymously when needed for safety.

Because of severe disabilities and circumstances of violence, our community members often can only post a small part of what they would like to talk about safely with others.

Many survivors of violence can only be safe to initiate a particular discussion in caring, supportive, inclusive community settings --- spaces we are building and sharing.

Our public links and notes are part of extended private @IntuitiveCommunity knowledgebase materials and collaborative groups where all are invited to participate.

We learn together how to support one another so that courageous conversations and fully inclusive communications regenerate strength and healing in our communities.

Our friends and families today are being victimized by sex trafficking and ritual abuse --- many women, children, elders, and others.

Please hear us and respond with kindness each time a conversation is initiated β€”- each time a message is broadcast.

Our lives depend on this.

For the last few years we have coordinated intensive and immersion learning for professionals who want to supercharge their ability to communicate with severely affected, invisibly intersectionalized individuals and families. This is especially important for those who find themselves without healthcare and other crucial support systems. Our efforts have a base in mental health care, a front line opportunity to relieve health disparities and restore cultural competencies through listening, dialogue, understanding severe disabilities, and ensuring inclusive communications. Our survivor-led approaches prevent human trafficking and build resilience for all our communities. If you would like to become this kind of superhero -- someone who can recognize a trafficked person based on subtle signs that others miss, someone who knows how to take action for safety and successful recovery -- this invitation is extended to you and others. Find us at https://t.me/s/intuitivepublicradio. Thank you for listening.

"What Are the 8 C's of Self in IFS?

When we are coping with our parts at war, we can lose access to Self. However, as healing takes place, you can return to who you are at your core. IFS therapy focuses on helping you realign with your authentic Self. The 8 C's that identify each of us at our core are:

Calm - I feel and embrace feelings of peace and calmness within. I feel confident in my ability to remain calm instead of turning to extreme emotions.

Compassionate - I have compassion for others and myself. I approach others with an open heart and empathy.

Curious - I take a curious, non-judgmental stance as I approach people and situations. I feel genuine curiosity as I enter a new situation or meet someone new. My curiosity leads to learning and growth.

Courageous - I have the courage to recognize my shortcomings. I can courageously own and apologize for my actions. I can choose to have courage when others may not.

Clear-minded - I can enter situations with clarity. I can leave intense emotions behind and remain objective.

Connection - I feel connected to my purpose in life, my relationships, and my ability to mend misunderstandings.

Creative - I can create solutions to problems. I can create an environment around me for learning and growth. Through my creativity, I can come up with original and unique ideas.

Confident - I am confident in my ability to stay present and in the moment. I have confidence in my ability to handle contention or repair when necessary. I feel confident in my abilities to learn from mistakes and to approach them with curiosity. "

"The most profitable action would be the full (re)integration of the personality. This β€œwork” (Janet) implies the fusion of the operationally autonomous, self-centered dissociative parts into one single new operationally autonomous self-centered unity: a whole, healthy individual."

Note: The concept of 'integration' is defined one way by most trauma-dissociation therapists, 'fusion' β€” however Internal Family Systems and the way many multiples do things is to increase consciousness, communication and cooperation between identified parts, even discover and differentiate parts, and update their awareness to be aware of the present, and seeking a harmonious way of being. IFS calles this Self-leadership β€” the whole self.
