⚡🇷🇺🇸🇦🇮🇶🇰🇿🇰🇼🇴🇲🇩🇿 Seven leading OPEC+ countries adhering to voluntary oil production cuts – Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Oman, and Algeria – have decided to keep their existing oil production quotas unchanged in November, the organization said.

Thus, Russia’s oil production quota for November 2026 will stand at 9.949 mln barrels per day, Saudi Arabia’s at 10.478 mln bpd, Iraq’s at 4.431 mln bpd, Kuwait’s at 2.676 mln bpd, Kazakhstan’s at 1.628 mln bpd, Algeria’s at 1.007 mln bpd, and Oman’s at 841,000 bpd, identical to the quotas for September and October 2026.

The seven countries will also continue to hold monthly meetings to review market conditions, with the next meeting scheduled for November 1.

⚡🇮🇷 Reopening the Strait of Hormuz will take no more than a week if the United States accepts Iran’s proposed settlement plan, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.

“Most importantly, there is the plan presented by the Islamic Republic of Iran this year to resolve the existing disagreements and ongoing conflict between Iran and the United States. This plan is known as the ‘seven-day plan.’ If it is accepted, the Strait of Hormuz will reopen within seven days,” he said at a meeting with heads of foreign diplomatic missions in Tehran.

🇩🇪🇺🇦⚔️🇷🇺 Germany’s Chancellor Friedrich Merz has arrived in Kyiv today with German defence CEOs to support President Zelenskiy.

Merz announced €1 billion in military aid and €350 million for energy sector repairs, and aims to finalise a drone production deal. The visit also addresses EU reform requests on Ukraine, including the pursuit of anti-corruption efforts in the country.

A key focus is expected to be the rapid production of anti-jet drones, which Quantum, a German defence-technology company, has successfully tested. Since the summer, Russia has used dozens of high-speed jet attack drones daily to target civilian ‌and ⁠military infrastructure.

In April, Quantum and Ukrainian manufacturer WIY Drones announced the creation of Quantum WIY Industries, a joint venture to produce the Strila interceptor drone and related air-defence technologies.
The deal also involves the joint development and production of weapons with a range of more than 1,000 km that Ukraine can use to launch attacks deep inside Russia.
