I think we have to understand something and that's the fact that human beings have this really weird talent that they can learn from anything. Absolutely anything, if they only choose.
Yes, there are moments in life that you wish never happened to you but in an ironic way, they are the best teachers out there.
If we learn not to let fear get in the way, each pain can make us stronger, each betrayal more intelligent, every disappointment more skillful and each hurtful experience more wise.
I'm not saying go look for pain, betrayal or disappointment. I'm not saying don't be afraid of them because fear is a survival instinct. I'm just saying that most of the time we have more power than what we give ourselves credit for. We are the kind of species that's now lived generation after generation in this world and we've adapted. Granted, we've kinda screwed up the Earth and we've done unspeakable things to each other but we're still here and most of us are trying to be better, do better day after day. That's not little and especially in days like these we need every bit of our strength, so it's extra important not to take this lightly.
