▫️Richmond police investigating suspected prostitution, human trafficking at massage studio
Fuji Health Studio is categorized as a massage parlor, according to Yelp.
On Thursday, officers said they arrested 62-year-old Alicia Young of Richmond and 54-year-old Shizhe Jin of Louisville. Shizhe Jin was arrested Thursday, July 11, 2024, by the Richmond Police Department at the Fuji Health Studio in Richmond and charged him with promoting human trafficking, promoting prostitution (two or more prostitutes), four counts of facilitation of practicing massage therapy without a license and operating a sham or front company.

Albuquerque police teamed up with state agents to take down a suspected illegal massage parlor.
Mei Chien Wu faced a judge Thursday after getting arrested, and it’s not the first time she’s been connected to this kind of crime.

▫️Prostitution ring busted in Boaz
Jian Zhang was arrested at Pro Massage and Joann Shiao was arrested at Aroma Therapy Spa, both located in Boaz.
Shiao was charged with prostitution and promoting prostitution and Zhang was charged with promoting prostitution. According to a press release from the Boaz Police Department, both subjects were transported to Boaz City Jail and booked in.
Detectives were able to obtain video and customer logs from the business. The investigation is ongoing

▫️Tampa Man Indicted For Sex Trafficking A Minor
Dontae Burton, 39, Tampa, has been charged with sex trafficking of a minor. If convicted, Burton faces a maximum penalty of life in federal prison.
According to court documents, Burton coordinated commercial sex acts on behalf of a minor victim after posting photographs of her on adult escort websites.
Burton told the minor victim how the dates worked and the portion of the money that he would receive from the dates. Burton transported the minor victim for the dates and received proceeds from her commercial sexual activity.

PHILADELPHIA – United States Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero announced that Idris Abdullah Malik, 49, was apprehended in Egypt and returned to the United States to face four counts of traveling for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual conduct and one count of engaging in illicit sexual conduct in a foreign place. The indictment, filed on March 1, 2012, alleges that between 2000 and 2005, Malik traveled to Egypt on four occasions for the purposes of engaging in an illicit sexual act with a minor less than 12 years old and between 2005 and 2006, engaged in a sexual act with a minor less than 16 years old in Egypt.
