▫️Doctor accused of sexually exploiting children get suspension order on medical license (UPDATE)
A Tampa Bay area doctor’s medical license is under an emergency suspension order, after he was accused of sexually exploiting children online.
Bodycam footage now shows the moment Leedy was caught by four police cars, as they swarm around his red SUV. He was immediately pulled from the vehicle and handcuffed. According to the Department of Justice, Stephen Leedy, 59, a palliative care doctor, was arrested and charged with three counts of production of child sexual abuse material and two counts of coercing or enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity.

▫️Military doctor pleads guilty to dozens of sexual abuse charges
A military doctor has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing dozens of soldiers at Joint Base Lewis-McChord who had primarily sought his care for pain management.
Maj. Michael Stockin, an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist at the base´s Madigan Army Medical Center, faced 52 charges involving claims of abusive sexual contact with 41 victims, said Michelle McCaskill, spokesperson with the U.S. Army Office of Special Trial Counsel.
Stockin pleaded guilty Tuesday to 36 specifications, or counts, of abusive sexual contact and five of indecent viewing, McCaskill said Wednesday. His pleas are subject to the military judge's approval, she said.
In January 2024, the Army Office of Special Trial Counsel referred 52 charges and specifications, stemming from allegations by 41 male patients he treated between 2019 and 2022.

▫️Veteran Long Island cop charged with child sex abuse
A Long Island police officer accused of touching a young boy on two separate occasions has been charged with felony child sex abuse and related crimes.
Suffolk County cop Sean Mahony was arrested on Dec. 9, according to a four-count indictment unsealed Monday. The 45-year-old, who has been with the department for 22 years, has been suspended without pay.
Mahony pleaded not guilty on Monday to two counts of child sex abuse and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, court records show.

▫️Paradise Township man accused of sexually assaulting two children waives preliminary hearing
A Paradise Township man accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting two children will have his case proceed to county court after he waived his preliminary hearing this week.
Khristopher Tho Johnson, of the 3500 block of Lincoln Highway East, waived his preliminary hearing before Judge Raymond Sheller on Thursday on charges of rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, two counts of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, two counts of corruption of minors, two counts of unlawful contact with a minor and two counts of endangering the welfare of children. Johnson, 41, is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting two juvenile girls and at one point raping one of them at a residence in the 5100 block of Lincoln Highway in Salisbury Township until around 2021.
