π±π§lπΈπΎ Shadi al-Mawlawi, a notorious terrorist from Lebanon who joined Al-Qaeda and Mohamed al-Jolani years ago came back to Lebanon recently to visit his family.
This was possible because the Lebanese state is no longer perusing arrest warrants, considering the new state in Syria.
Shadi was an infamous prison interrogator in Idlib, working on behalf of HTS. He clashed with the Lebanese army in 2014 and in 2017 was smuggled to Syria.
There are 100's of Lebanese Sunnis who joined Al-Qaeda and ISIS, and now are being allowed to come back as if a new page was opened.
HTS might have cut ties with ISIS and Al-Qaeda, but since when do previous mistakes just disappear?
