Quasi il 50% dei bambini in età scolare e la maggior parte degli adulti vaccinati con due dosi di vaccino MPR (Morbillo-Parotite-Rosolia) possono ancora essere infettati dal virus del morbillo e diffonderlo ad altri, anche con sintomi lievi o assenti.(1-4)
