Salafī Da'wah in Pakistan ??

Shaykh ʾAbd-Allāh al-Bukhārī (حفظه ٱللّٰه) said,

"May Allāh forgive the worshippers who were massacred in New Zealand, and may they be from among those who are accepted with Him in the best state, and may He cure their injured, and may He grant their loved ones patience and solace.

This horrendous crime is based on the crusader ideology envious against Islām, the religion of guidance and truth. He the Exalted said,

(وَلَن تَرۡضَىٰ عَنكَ ٱلۡیَهُودُ وَلَا ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمۡۗ
Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you till you follow their religion.

And amazingly, when a member of ISIS, al-Qaeda, a deviant or a kharijite commits an act such as this, they accuse the entire religion of Islām (of these vile acts), rather they accuse all of its adherents (of such crimes), despite statements from the scholars (of Islām) which clarify and refute the deviance and the evil path taken by such people (ISIS, al-Qaeda, Ikhwān etc.).

As for this religiously motivated crime, then only he alone is to be incriminated and those who were with him! Where is the incrimination of the entirety of crusaders? Let this be a wakeup call for the one who has been exploited by the callers to the (Ikhwānī) principle of overlooking differences in favour of mutual cooperation and their aides. And they should know the creed of their religion well, which Allah has chosen for them, and they should not exchange that which is better for that which is less."

The Status of Shaykh Rabīʾ and Shaykh Ubayd with Shaykh ʾAbd al-Muḥsin (حفظهم ٱللّٰه)

ʾAllāmah ʾAbd al-Muḥsin al-ʾAbbād (حفظه ٱللّٰه) was asked:

Questioner: Our shaykh, will you contirbute to put out the fitnah in Algeria?

Shaykh: Which fitnah?

Questioner: The fitnah that has taken place between the callers.

Shaykh: Who are they?

Questioner: They were twelve mashāyikh gathered together by Dār al-Faḍīlah, and now they have differed. Shaykh Farkūs is on one side, and the other mashāyikh on another side. And Shaykh Rabīʾ and Shaykh ʾUbayd, each of them have given advice to Shaykh Farkūs to gather with his brothers and end the differing, but he has rejected the advice and said: I will not gather with them.

Shaykh: Who advised?

Questioner: Shaykh Rabīʾ and Shaykh ʾUbayd both advised Shaykh Farkūs.

Amazed, the Shaykh said: And what will I say!? My speech will not benefit!

The Indispensibilty of Tafsīr al-Baghawī' for A Student of Knowledge

Shaykh Ḥāmid bin Khamīs al-Junaybī (حَفِظَهُ ٱللّٰهُ) said:

From among the beneficial books of [Qurʿanic] exegesis (tafsīr) which is indispensible for a student of Knowledge is the exegesis of al-Imām Moḥammad al-Ḥusayn bin Masʿūd al-Baghawī ash-Shāfiʿī (d.510AH) it's called 'Maʿālim at-Tanzīl'.

And from among that which has been said in praise of this exegesis is the saying of al-Imām Ibn al-Qayyim (رَحِمَهُ ٱللّٰهُ),

"His (al-Baghawī's) exegesis is that which afflicted the throats of the Jahmiyyah and the Muʿaṭṭilah." ['Ijmāʿ al-Juyūsh Vol. 2 Pg. 199]

ʾAllāmah Rabīʾ bin Hādī al-Madkhalī's tazkiyah for the noble Shaykh Moḥammad bin Ghālib al-ʾUmarī (حفظهما ٱللّٰه)

ʾAllāmah Rabīʾ bin Hādī al-Madkhalī (حفظه ٱللّٰه) was asked: Who should we return to in Emārāt if something becomes complicated for us? Whom do you advise us to return to there?

He said: Ask Shaykh Moḥammad bin Ghālib and he will guide you to whom you should return to. I cannot recall anyone now.

Sanctity of The Companions (رَضِيَ ٱللّٰهُ عَنهُمْ)

Imām Ibn Ḥibbān (رَحِمَهُ ٱللّٰهُ) said,

"Allāh the Majestic and Exalted has far removed the honour of the Companions of Allāh's Messenger ﷺ to be mentioned with disgrace when He said,

يَوْمَ لَا يُخْزِي اللَّهُ النَّبِيَّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ

"the Day that Allāh will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believe with him" [at-Taḥrīm 8]

Therefore, about whom Allāh the Majestic and Exalted has informed that certainly He will not disgrace him on the Judgement (Day), then it is more befitting that they are not to be reviled.

Obedience of Allāh and His Messenger is the pillar of happiness and it revolves around it

Shaykh al-Islām Ibnu Taymiyyah al-Ḥarrānī (رَحِمَهُ ٱللّٰهُ) said,

"And likewise the Levant (Shām: Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, Jordon) in the beginning (days) of Islām were amidst worldly and religious prosperity. Then they were afflicted by trials and tribulations and the kingdom escaped their hands. Then the hypocrites, atheists and christians were inflicted upon them due to their sins, and they overtook Bayt at-Maqdis (Jerusalem) and the grave of al-Khalīl (Ibrāhīm (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ)), and they opened the structure that was over it and made it into a church. Then their (Levantine's), religion was rectified so Allah honoured them, and gave them victory over their enemies when they obeyed Allāh and His Messenger, and they followed what was revealed to them from their Lord. Therefore, obedience of Allāh and His Messenger is the pillar of happiness and it revolves around it."
