Do you believe the current decline in job growth is linked to the rise of AI, and do you expect this trend to continue as AI technology advances? If so, what strategies can we adopt to mitigate the risk of job displacement? Additionally, do you feel a greater sense of job security because you specialize in less widely adopted programming languages like Rust, compared to more mainstream languages such as JavaScript? Application for AddisCoder is closing in 2 days !!!

AddisCoder is a free intensive 4-week summer program in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia introducing high schoolers to programming and algorithms.

isnt it awesome telling you that I was thought about algorithm design and analysis from a Harvard professor in computer science Jelani Nelson when I was in high school. there is a lot I should tell you about this experience and how it influenced me to pursue Computer Science. for now let me tell you what students will learn during the 4 week intensive program.

AddisCoder exposes program participants to the field of computer science by teaching the basics of Python programming, as well as fundamental ideas in algorithm design and analysis. AddisCoder covers advanced topics usually not taught until at least the second year of university studies: order of growth, recurrences, induction, memoization, greedy algorithms, graph algorithms, sorting, and numerical algorithms.

## 💼 Position Overview
We're looking for a mid-level developer with strong expertise in e-commerce web scraping. This is a high-impact role with excellent compensation and potential for long-term collaboration.

## 🎯 What You'll Do
- Design and develop scalable web scraping solutions for e-commerce platforms
- Set up and maintain automated scraping workflows
- Work directly with me to optimize scraping processes within cloud infrastructure
- Integrate and manage data collection systems

## 💪 Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in web scraping, especially e-commerce sites
- Strong Python programming skills
- Hands-on experience with scraping frameworks (Scrapy, Beautiful Soup, Selenium)
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and scaling concepts

## 📊 Key Details
- 💰 Compensation: 40,000 - 60,000 ETB per month (based on experience)
- ⏰ Time Commitment: ~30 hours per week
