The last Task 1 masterpiece

The line graph shows how much time did it take to produce a single car by four American car manufacturers between the years 1998 and 2002.

Overall, while the figures for GM (General Motors), DC (Daimler Chrysler) and Nissan dropped, the production time of a single Ford took longer by the end of the period. It is also clear that although Nissan vehicles took long enough time to be fully manufactured initially, it became the lowest time-consuming car manufacturer.

Standing at an impressive one and a half day initially, the figure for Nissan decreased dramatically, and by 2002, it hit a low of 21 hours. In contrast, the second place manufacturer, namely Daimler Chrysler, produced a vehicle in a 34 hour time-span in 1998, a figure that then declined by 6 hours in 2002. The time taken to assemble GM car was roughly 32 hours in 1998, but it did not last long, and by 2002, there was an 8-hour reduction.

The company Fort, on the other hand, was the sole manufacturer in which the production time increased. Despite an initial rise to 27 hour from a low 24 hour, it decreased to 26 hour-production.

Estimated score is 7.5 ~ 8.0

Noahillik

Qadim zamonda bir yurt podshosining xazinasidan bebaho gavhar yoʻqolibdi. Boshqa yurtlardan kelgan savdogarlar gumon bilan hibsga olinibdi. Atrofiga qilich yalangʻochlagan soqchilar qoʻyilibdi. Ittifoqo oʻsha yurtga toʻrt nafar oʻzbek savdogari ham borib qolgan ekan. Ularni ham hibsga olibdilar. Ammo tepasiga soqchi qoʻyishmabdi. Sababini soʻrashsa, “bularga soqchining keragi yoʻq, biri qutulmoqchi boʻlsa, ikkinchisi tutib beradi”, debdilar...

Some people think that it is good for a country's culture to import foreign movies and TV programmes. Others think that it is better to produce these locally.

The last masterpiece 💔

With the rapid increase of globalization, it has become increasingly common for many nations to import foreign movies, instead of producing local ones. While some may argue that this trend is largely positive, I side with those who believe countries should prioritize local film productions.

Proponents of film imports cite various reasons to support their stance. One common argument is that local people would have more varied film choices, if the government accepts film imports to the country. Population can not only watch locally produced movies, which is often considered as boring, but they can also enjoy some internationally-known films like avatar. They also say that films often characterize the culture, history, and traditions of the country they are produced in. When they are brought to other nations, locals have the ability to learn them thereby helping them broaden their horizons.

I, however, support the view that the imported films are highly likely to bring about some corrosive effects to the local film production. Firstly, these movies can creep into the market and gradually overtake it and in a long enough timeframe, outcompete local film production. All of which eventually lead to partially loss of film making culture, as it is a special source of the local history that tells the future generations about today. For example, my home country, Uzbekistan, where the government once imported many international films that badly affected local film making and still it only produces a limited number movies that are of bad quality.

In conclusion, although some people may argue that film making is a positive measure, I have a negative view of this trend believing that it can have several insidious impacts on the local film making industry.

Estimated score is 7.5 ~ 8.0
