The 2020 riots surrounding the death of George Floyd have outlined three essential lessons. Countless videos have come out depicting white men being ganged up on by mobs of blacks and their white 'allies' and getting beaten to death's door and occasionally over that threshold. These events are staggeringly formulaic, beginning with a verbal altercation between the white, soon to be victim, and one or more blacks provocateurs. During which, a crowd forms and sealing the white man’s fate. While the white victim's efforts shift to placate, deescalate, or disengage entirely with the situation, an opportunistic black sneaks in a single punch setting off the ‘powder keg.’ At this first sign of violence, the mob erupts into a flurry of attacks against the white man. From the moment of the first strike to the white man's head striking the pavement is usually only 15 seconds. There is little chance for fighting back in this one side mobbing: individual blacks throw a handful of punches or kicks and run off, while the victim may get off a single strike in return. Bystanders do not intervene out of apathy or fear they'll get the same treatment. In the few cases where the white man has been armed with any sort of weapon, his fate is the same. Pulling a weapon has seemly in every case only seemed to agitate the mob further. Even if it lends the white man a precious few seconds, the vitriol of his attackers is only redoubled by his brandishing of weaponry. This lesson teaches each and every white man three important things to stay safe: First, do not be there; Second, do not be alone; Third, around Blacks never relax.
