The Kingsteignton idol.

I visited the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter on saturday. They have a good collection (not much in the way of early medieval unfortunately) but my favourite item was this iron age figure carved from oak, discovered in Kingsteignton not far from my hometown.
I read about the figure years ago and forgot about it, so it was great to see it in person. I might carve a replica
