Putin lighting candles in a church is not convincing proof that he's a virtuous Christian. The guy routinely has his political opponents and critics assassinated (Nemtsov, Navalny, Litvinenko, Politkovskaya), invaded and destroyed a majority Christian country (Ukraine), etc. Hardly the behaviour of a pious man of god.

He also lights candles in synagogues and inaugurates the construction of the largest mosque in Europe, which is in Moscow.

But I guess these Christian dupes are content with getting behind someone who pays lip services to Abrahamism in general.
